A weekly co-working meetup for passion projects — build, write, or make side projects alongside a friendly group.

Welcome to Ringworld! What's this? A warm group of people making time for projects they care about. Build a robot, write a poem, code an app, make beats, paint shoes—anything you're excited to work on outside of school or your job. At the end, anyone who wants to can share what they made. When and where Sundays, 2–5 PMCIC 1203 How it usually goes 2:00 PM — Arrive and get settled 2:15 PM — Introductions 2:30–3:20 PM — Focus time 3:20–3:40 PM — Social break 3:40–4:30 PM — Focus time 4:30 PM — Optional show and tell Who's it for? Anyone who's been wanting to work on a passion project but hasn't found the time or motivation. Why? We kept putting off side projects even though we love working on them. Ringworld gives us a regular time to make things together, keep each other going, and meet friends who care about what they create. A few guidelines Work on something you want to do, rather than schoolwork or job work. If you're unsure what to make, we'll help you find an idea!

Act like a host: include people, talk to someone new, offer help, and help clean up.

Come to make stuff and make friends, rather than to network. Bring snacks if you're feeling kind!
