Classes/Workshops · BANDALOOP Studio · Oakland

How do we understand our body in relation to movements for collective healing and liberation? In these paradigm-shifting times, how can we access the inherent joy and ancestral resilience in our DNA? Together, we will investigate what it means to embody sacred reciprocity through our corporeality – drawing upon the gifts of breath, movement, sound, somatics, and contemplative practice. This workshop is intended for all bodies. While exercises draw upon improvisation, no previous dance experience is required. Work exchange and scholarship inquiries must be received by Wed 11/18.
