Basic Bird Training

Practical one-day training on bird identification, husbandry, common injuries and release procedures at ACT Wildlife
This is the recommended training to take for new carers because over 60% of animals in ACT Wildlife's care are birds. Topics will include:
• Identification
• Basic anatomy and life stages
• Diet
• Husbandry
• Housing
• Common injuries and illnesses
• How to release
Notes will be provided after the training. Training will be conducted at ACT Wildlife, 701 Cotter Road, Duffy.
