Wellness Weekend
Three days of sound baths, movement, mineral water therapy and expert wellness talks across ten Miracle Hill spas
RECHARGE. CONNECT. TRANSFORM.
October 16–18, 2026, Desert Hot Springs becomes a destination for three unforgettable days of wellness, discovery, connection, and transformation.
Presented by the Miracle Hill Spas Association, Wellness Weekend is an immersive, citywide wellness experience unfolding across 10 distinctive mineral spa hotels in the legendary Miracle Hill area of Desert Hot Springs—the Spa City and Gateway to Joshua Tree.
Rather than experiencing wellness in just one location, guests are invited to explore programming throughout Azure Palm Hot Springs, The Spring Resort & Spa, Sagewater Springs, Miracle Manor, The Good House, Acres Landing, Aqua Soleil, El Morocco Inn & Spa, Tuscan Springs Hotel & Spa, and Desert Hot Springs Inn.
Throughout the weekend, an incredible lineup of physicians, wellness experts, educators, healers, movement instructors, sound practitioners, and thought leaders will lead conversations and experiences spanning medical and integrative health, longevity, lifestyle medicine, mineral water therapy, nutrition, restorative sleep, Ayurveda, plant-based wellness, CBD, mushrooms, women's health, skincare, sound healing, movement, relationships, mindfulness, and more.
Featured programming includes Dr. Marcus Coplin exploring the benefits of Miracle Hill's mineral waters; Dr. Edith Jones-Poland presenting Diet & DNA: Food as Information; Drs. Sonja Fung, ND, and Cristal Salcido, ND, discussing naturopathic medicine; Dr. Hessam Mahdavi on proactive cardiac health; and Matthew Keane, MSPA, PA-C, presenting the Six Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine and the importance of restorative sleep.
Guests will also hear from Ted Gibson + ASCENSION through The Mushroom Mindset and their featured conversation, FEEL BETTER. LOOK BETTER. LIVE BETTER. Additional presenters include Sherri Mack, BSN, RN, on CBD and wellness; Angela Romero on herbs, nutrition, and everyday medicine; Christy Curtis on women's wellness and mindful living; Kelli Lewis introducing Ayurveda; and Brook Dougherty of JustUs Skincare exploring menopausal skin and whole-body wellness.
The weekend will also feature important conversations about the therapeutic use of water, including a presentation focused on therapeutic water practices for neurodivergent children and the potential benefits of warm-water environments for relaxation, sensory support, connection, and well-being.
Sound and vibration will be woven throughout the weekend. Guests can experience immersive sound baths facilitated by The Sound Fairy and The Sound Spa, along with powerful gong journeys featuring gongs by High Desert Mermaid. These practitioners will create restorative experiences that invite guests to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with themselves through sound, resonance, and the healing properties of water.
But Wellness Weekend isn't something you simply sit and watch—it's something you experience.
Move through Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, and ecstatic dance. Immerse yourself in…
