The Firepit
An application‑only weekly small group for 12–18 year-olds to discuss personal growth topics and practice communication.
The Firepit
A small group. Real conversations about how to grow as a person.
This is a small, committed group of young people aged 12–18 who show up each week to work on things that matter but rarely get taught such as relationships with money, speaking to the inner critic, who they want to be in the future and how to communicate better.
It's not a class and it's not therapy. It's a room where teens engage in discussions as equals with likeminded peers who are on the same journey.
How it works Each week brings a different theme, either proposed by the community, the teens themselves or the facilitators. Sessions follow the same sequence: a quick emotional check in and update from the previous week, a conversation and activity around the session theme, and a closing task each participant takes away for the coming week.
Why it's different The Firepit is a vetted group. Every participant applies, and every participant is there because they're ready to show up and take that next step. The trust in the room is built by keeping the group small, committed and safe for honest sharing.
Who runs it Kevin — an educator with 10 years experience working with young people as a teacher, mentor, camp facilitator and workshop host.
