From 16–18 October 2020 the epicenter of Rioja wine became the world center of classic cycling when the people of Haro welcomed Eroica Hispania for the first time. Dust off your Razesa or your Zeus and get set for great routes to explore, including sections of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
You will also find options for hotels and rural houses, bars and restaurants to relax and enjoy, as well as plenty of activities and services to make your stay enjoyable. A diverse tapestry of cultural and gastronomic attractions, surprising and authentic, awaits.
La Rioja offers medieval villages, spring colours, winding gravel roads, wide-open landscapes and a cheering spirit as the perfect scenery for a classic bike ride. The event highlights vineyards and wineries, fortresses, castles and watchtowers, and shares locations with the Camino de Santiago.
Eroica Hispania returns the values of cycling in its origins: enjoying the journey, gastronomy and landscape. It is a tribute to the land and its people in a unique La Rioja setting.
