Community Memory Walk at Whakatāne Library green to raise awareness for people living with dementia.
September is Alzheimer's Awareness Month, and we'd love you to join us for our annual Memory Walk on Sunday 20 September.
Why do we walk? We walk... 💜 for those we've loved and lost. 💜 for those living with dementia mate wareware today. 💜 for the whānau and friends walking alongside them. 💜 for greater awareness, understanding and hope.
Join us on 20 September and help us show our community that no one walks this journey alone.
Assemble at the green outside the Whakatāne Library at 10am for a 10.30am start.
