Group exhibition of contemporary printmaking showcasing lithography drypoint collagraph and woodblock works by four artists
Explore: Printmaking Techniques presents a grouping of prints by four contemporary artists, each employing a different mode of printmaking.
Covering lithography, drypoint, chine collé, collagraph, and woodblock printing, the exhibition highlights the persistence of printmaking as a practice, and the way artists have embraced historic techniques while utilizing contemporary color, imagery, and materials.
These works by Cameron Bailey, Becky Blosser, Rachel Mentzer, and Junli Song showcase each artist’s unique process, while honoring the long-standing traditions of printmaking.

Primarily working in a multi-layer reduction technique, Bailey fuses inspiration from German Romanticism, American Tonalism, and Japanese Shin-Hanga to create evocative landscapes and portraits that continue a tradition of cross-cultural dialog between Western and Eastern aesthetics. Utilizing traditional Japanese printmaking tools and materials, he brings a contemporary approach to a time-honored craft. He has shown in multiple group shows and his work is held in private collections across the world.
