Ziongate is a futuristic club night guided by electronic riddims from the motherland. In a world where people are overexposed to media, politics, and social pressure, Ziongate creates an alternative future where community connection rises above the individual. Zion is the last place where humans are truly free.

Born and raised in KwaMashu township in Durban, South Africa, his sound includes collaborations with DJ Maphorisa, Babes Wodumo, Busiswa, Rude Boyz and DJ Tira. He coins the term “Umkhunkulu”, a subgenre of Gqom with hard core hypnotic heavy bass.
