Engineering Delight

A talk on how collaboration and empathy can help a structural engineer to contribute to projects that can make people smile.

Engineers Ireland GB Region, WES London Cluster and ICE are delighted to welcome Jane Wernick to ICE. Jane will talk on how structural engineers can contribute to projects that bring delight and describe how the designs were developed for a selection of her favourite projects. These include the Kew Gardens Tree Top Walk (shown in the image) and the Millennium Wheel in London. Jane will also consider the role of built environment professionals in the light of the current climate emergency.
