Symphony Of The Elements
Com Ben Freeman, Hannah Scholnick, That’s Interesting, Voice Tapestry
A three-hour guided vocal and movement workshop exploring earth, wind, fire and air through devised improvisation
Voice Tapestry Circles celebrate the fun and spontaneity of improvisation using only the human body. That’s Interesting! is a studio for the playful practice of attention, hosting art parties, interactive performances, and ensemble experiences that explore play as a spiritual practice and a form of attention activism.
Join Voice Tapestry’s Hannah Scholnick and That’s Interesting’s Ben Freeman for Symphony of The Elements, a guided exploration of earth, wind, fire, and air through devised theatre and vocal improvisation. Over the course of three hours together we’ll find movement, text, and sonic vocabularies for each elemental realm and use them to make music in real time.
You do not need to identify as a musician or theatre maker to come play with us. Just bring yourself and a willingness to try new things and do them imperfectly.
Hosted at HumorVille, the one-room tourist attraction for the heart in East Williamsburg, 164 Meserole St.
