Get involved in our community foreshore clean-up and help create a healthier habitat for migratory shorebirds, including the Bar-tailed Godwit and Curlew Sandpiper, as they return from their incredible journey from the Arctic to our local waterways. We'll provide all the clean-up equipment, and you can enjoy a free sausage sizzle after the event. 🔬 Discover Microplastics with AUSMAP Get hands-on with an interactive microplastic sampling and education session with AUSMAP. Learn how microplastics impact our waterways, take part in real citizen science and help collect valuable data for the AUSMAP Hotspot Map. 🚬 Butt Hunt with No More Butts Cigarette Butts are the LGAs most littered item! No More Butts is an environmental charity with a vision for a cigarette butt-free world, all data on cigarette butt litter found during Spring Clean will be reported on. 🚲 Check & Tune Up Your Bike with Bikewise Bring along your bike for a free check and tune-up with the expert mechanics from Bikewise. Get help troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, learn how to keep your bike running smoothly and safely, and give your ride a new lease on life - keeping it out of landfill and keeping you moving sustainably.
