The generative writing group you've always wanted. Bring a project you're working on and experience the joy and inspiration found in a community writing session.

Searching for an inspiring writing community? Look no further! Bring your current writing project and your favorite writing tools (pens pencils notebooks laptops) and prepare to hunker down and write. Local novelist and Writing Education Specialist Sharma Shields will write alongside of you and provide prompts and advice if needed. This is not a critiquing workshop and is purely generative. Here we'll focus on getting fresh words on the page and we'll also get to know one another and laugh and commiserate too.

By attending library programs you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
