The Guild Session
Monthly acoustic concerts by two professional acts plus spoken word, in the intimate 12th-century St. Mary's Guildhall with a surprise line-up.
The Guild Sessions are monthly concert events held in the lovely 12th century building. St. Mary's Guildhall. They're on the third Monday of every month (except July and August) and each session has two invited professional or semi-professional music acts, each giving us a 35-minute concert. The concerts are acoustic and encompass many genres. Between the music is a spoken-word performance of about 15 minutes.
There is a licensed bar and the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly.
Every Guild Session has a surprise line-up, never revealed until the evening itself. This adds to the magical experience which keeps our audiences returning.
Please note that they are held in an upstairs room and there is no lift, only stairs.
