1v1 TEKKEN 8 double-elimination tournament — bring your own controller and battle through Best-of-3 brackets to the Top 5 finals.
Format & Structure
• Match Mode: 1v1. • Tournament Bracket: Standard Double-Elimination format. • Set Format (Standard Matches): Best of 3 games (First to 2 wins per set; 3 rounds per game, 60 seconds per round).
• Set Format (Top 4 / Finals): Best of 5 games (First to 3 wins for Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals).
Game Settings
• Game Mode: Versus Mode using default official tournament settings. • Platform: PlayStation 5 or PC (depending on the event). • Character Customizations: Turned off or restricted to default/official costumes only.
• Controllers: Players must bring their own pad, arcade stick, or leverless controller; controllers with turbo, macros, or automated inputs are banned. Leverless controllers must have directional inputs that clean up opposing directions (left+right = neutral) and single input per button.
Stage & Character Selection
• First Game: Random stage selection or mutually agreed upon by both players.
• Subsequent Games: The losing player of the previous game can opt for a random stage reset or return to stage select for a new random stage.
• Character Changes: The winner must keep their character. The loser may switch characters; if they do, the stage is randomized again
