Monster Dash
Family-friendly costume fun run offering a 1-mile or 5K on the Karst Greenway to benefit the Boys & Girls Club.
Join us for the Monster Dash, a family-friendly fun run on October 24th 2026! Lace up your shoes, grab your costume, and bring your friends for a morning of fun and a great way to support the Auxiliary to the Boys & Girls Club!
A few race highlights:
Run/walk a 1-mile or 5K route — perfect for all ages and fitness levels! Costumes encouraged! Get in the spirit early! Well-behaved dogs and strollers welcome. (Costumes are especially encouraged for those pups!) Free professional photos available for download after the event. No official timing. No official prizes. Just fun for all!
The race will start at Grandview Elementary School and continue on the Karst Greenway Trail. (This is the same route as the MCCSC Fun Run!) You can find ample parking at Grandview Elementary and walk behind the gym to find the race start.
There will be a slightly staggered start. The 5K walkers/runners will begin at 11am. The 1-mile walkers/runners will begin five minutes later.
This is a great way to launch the holiday season, get a little bit more use out of those costumes, get some hilarious photos, and best of all, support the Boys and Girls Club.
