Jon Cocker — Acoustic Encounters

Acoustic Encounters - Evenings of hand-woven dreams

These evenings take place largely on the third Wednesday of the month at Sheffield's historic Crookes Social Club. This one, however, is on a Tuesday. Each evening will feature three primarily acoustic acts playing a 40–45 minute set each, all for £10 entry. The aim is to highlight local talent while also welcoming acts from further afield.

This evening will feature

Jon Cocker — Nature-inspired vocals with Sheffield roots producing a subtle yet euphoric sound. This gifted singer-songwriter recently played at The Lantern Theatre in an evening with Carrie Martin.

Teah Lewis — Channeling the deep-hearted sounds of Vashti Bunyan and Joni Mitchell. Teah also played The Lantern Theatre earlier in 2026 alongside Sorrel Nation.
