Illustrated Mapmaking
Hands-on workshop exploring playful illustrated maps, composition and the interplay of text and image.
Explore the art of illustrated mapmaking, where the rigid rules of cartography need not apply. Illustrated maps can be playful and personal: a way of capturing a place as you remember it rather than as it exists.
Through guided exercises and feedback, delve into composition, visual hierarchy, and the interplay between text and image, building both confidence and creative direction.
