Local band Onward plays harmony‑rich roots rock and blues with originals and covers spanning Sam Cooke to Lucinda Williams.
Onward is dedicated to making music that uplifts and inspires. With band members born in each decade from the 1950's to 1990's. Onward has a wealth of music genres and experience from which to draw: from Sam Cooke to the Wood brothers, Bonnie Raitt to Lucinda Williams, and an ever-expanding catalog of originals.
Onward has developed a small but growing following who appreciate the 3 and 4-part harmonies, the steady bass and drums, the tasty harmonica licks, the soaring keyboard fills, and the awesome guitar solos.
