Celebrate the wonders of Ebbor Gorge at our family open day. Experience dramatic limestone cliffs, ancient woodland and hidden caves as experts reveal how geology, archaeology and wildlife intertwine to create this remarkable landscape. Book onto guided walks, take part in hands‑on activities, and uncover stories of ice age animals that once roamed the Mendip Hills.
Free entry (no booking required), donations welcome.

Important Information
Family activities are located in the meadow next to the car park. Although relatively level, much of the ground is uneven and and may get muddy. Access into the gorge is steep with steps and uneven ground. Please wear sensible footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
There will be toilet facilities on site.
All dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any/all of the activities in the event of extreme weather, e.g. 30 mph winds.
