Blue Notes

Seraphic Fire sizzles in a stylish evening of jazz standards, backed by a small combo of piano, guitar, bass, and drums. With the rich blend of 13 voices, the ensemble explores the close harmonies and uncanny American “cool” that defined classics made famous by Nat King Cole, Etta James, and Cole Porter, alongside many more legendary voices of the Great American Songbook. From At Last and When I Fall in Love to Straighten Up and Fly Right, this program shimmers with warmth, swing, and sophistication, transporting audiences to the intimate jazz clubs of the early twentieth century—an unforgettable celebration of timeless melodies and velvet-smooth sound.
