Write That Play!
90-minute adult workshop to learn playwriting basics, draft an outline, and plan further practice with instructor Andrew Black
In this 90-minute workshop, participants will read a short play, learn the basics of playwriting and dramatic writing, explore where playwrights get ideas, and conceive and build an outline for a play of their own. The session also covers ways to continue developing playwriting skills after the workshop.

Instructor Andrew Black built a playwriting education program serving both novices and advanced students through the Indiana Writers Center, founded the Indiana Playwrights Circle, and has taught playwriting at the University of Missouri-Columbia, the Dramatists Guild Institute, and the Indiana Repertory Theatre.
