Two-person exhibition at NODE linking Maya Man’s browser-based installations with Luke Shannon’s plotter-scanner works.
Make Out is a two-person exhibition by Luke Shannon and Maya Man that explores how the self today is made up of software, screens, and social media. This exhibition will present distinct bodies of work from each artist as well as the debut of a collaborative work that connects NODE’s two galleries.
Maya presents seven websites, installed reminiscent of floating browser tabs in space, that range from 2022 to 2025. Luke presents the plotter-scanner installation from Replacement Character along with the debut of a new work, Perfect Consumer.
