GINGA
Exhibition on the Brazilian art of ginga — capoeira, football and samba in movement — with the screening 10 Minutes of Ginga.
The movement that sustains capoeira. The dribble in football. The swing of samba.
A way of being that is genuinely Brazilian — and one that crosses borders.
It is from this concept that GINGA was born: an exhibition about something that cannot be fully explained in words. It is felt, embodied, and carried through movement.
Alongside the exhibition, 10 Minutes of Ginga will be screened: real stories of people who have built entire movements throughout their careers, guided by a uniquely Brazilian way of seeing, creating, and moving through the world.
This is not about representing Brazilian culture from the outside.
It is about showing the people who create it.
