EmTech Future
Three-day MIT Technology Review conference on converging technologies across AI, quantum, and energy at the MIT Media Lab
Discover what matters, before it becomes obvious. Join us September 29 through October 1 at the MIT Media Lab for EmTech Future 2026, MIT Technology Review’s flagship event at the frontiers of technology.
Since 1999, EmTech MIT has gathered leaders, researchers, and builders on the MIT campus to understand the technologies shaping the years ahead. EmTech Future continues that mission for a moment defined by convergence. We are entering a new era in technology. Across artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and energy systems, powerful new capabilities are emerging. But the most important breakthroughs are no longer happening within individual domains. They are happening at the intersections, where technologies begin to connect and powerful new possibilities emerge.
Held on MIT’s campus and curated by the editors of MIT Technology Review, the program is shaped by journalists who report every day on the technologies changing business and society. Through conversations, demonstrations, and experiences across campus, attendees gain direct access to the work behind the breakthroughs.
