Mind your words and actions

We understand that the pressure and intensity of competitive events can lead people to say and do things they might otherwise regret. We trust you to not let that happen.

Expect to be called out by TOs and other attendees on any behaviour that undermines the event as an inclusive, physically and psychologically safe place for attendees and staff of every gender identity, orientation, ability or social/ethnic background.

If that were to be the case, you are expected to stop that behaviour immediately.

Failure to comply will result in consequences at the TOs' discretion, up to and including disqualification and expulsion from the event.

Blatant verbal or physical abuse (including inappropriate touching, use of slurs, etc.), or deliberate damage to another person's property will see you removed from the venue immediately.

People caught under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave.

Be a good sport Feel free to pop off and celebrate your victories, but leave your opponent out of it.

Conversely, if a loss makes you angry, say GGs and move on, process those feelings in your own time.

These points apply to you and any spectator supporting you.

Be considerate

If you've played more than 10 minutes in a row on the provided freeplay setups, please consider leaving your spot to someone else.

If a TO asks you to free up a station to be used for a tournament, do not finish the match or the round, unplug your controller and step away. The faster the tournaments run, the quicker the stations can be made available for freeplay.
