An exciting opportunity for Year 5 students to get an introduction into cultural celebrations and traditions.
In the French half of the session, students will discover how Christmas is celebrated in France, pick up some festive new vocabulary, and play themed games and activities. For the Spanish half, students will get an introduction to El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) - the wonderful a Mexican celebration that honours and remembers loved ones who have passed away. The workshop will be interactive and fun, giving students the opportunity to learn about Mexican culture while taking part in a variety of activities including decorating their own Day of the Dead skulls.
No previous knowledge of Spanish or French is needed!
