Writers Panel
An evening with four writers, a screenwriter and a publisher discussing inspiration, publishing routes and life behind the books.
Ever wondered where writers get their ideas – and what happens once the writing is done?
Join us at Falmouth Library for an evening with four people working across the world of books and storytelling. Our panel brings together bestselling and award-winning writers, a screenwriter and a publisher to share their experiences of writing, publishing and getting stories out into the world.
The panel features Roz Watkins, bestselling thriller writer and author of The Wicked Girls; Claire Peate, BAFTA-winning screenwriter; Sue Kittow, traditionally and independently published author of three novels, including award-winning Lainy's Tale; and Sam Stone from Hermitage Press.
The discussion will explore where inspiration comes from, different routes to publication, and the realities of traditional and self-publishing.
Whether you're an aspiring writer, an established author or simply a keen reader curious about what goes on behind the books, come along and hear from people who know the journey first-hand. Falmouth Library | 14th October | 6.30pm No need to book.
