Write Night 2026

Volunteers will work 1:1 with seniors to edit and revise their college admission essays before submitting.

Join us for Write Night at Lighthouse High School! This workshop is an opportunity for volunteers to support our seniors as they prepare to submit their college admission essays. Volunteers will work one-on-one with students to provide feedback, suggest edits, and help them revise their essays. Your time and support can make a meaningful difference as students share their stories, reflect on their experiences, and take an important step toward their future goals. No matter your background, your encouragement and perspective can help students feel more confident in their writing. We invite you to be part of this special evening and help our seniors put their best foot forward as they apply to college.

Date: Tuesday, November 3rd Time: 4:00–6:00 PM Location: Lighthouse High School, 444 Hegenberger Road, Oakland, CA 94621
