In this workshop: Extend your ukulele repertoire with local musician Mariah McCarthy. Bring your own ukulele, or use one of ours! It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or more advanced, Mariah will introduce you to new skills.

What you will learn: 4 basic chord shapes, a variety of strumming patterns, and Dolly's hit song - to be performed on Sunday 1 Nov at our community day.
Trying out workshops at Heartcote 2026 In 2026, we are offering ukulele and singing workshops to give ourselves the opportunity to stretch!
In each workshop, we will learn a song, and all workshop groups will be invited to perform on stage on Sunday. Check with your workshop leader for performance time.
