Winter Session Pottery Classes
As the weather starts to cool down, the studio is heating up! Our Winter Session is the perfect opportunity to explore your creativity and spend time making something with your own two hands.
Odyssey ClayWorks is a large ceramics school, gallery and working studio that hosts a wide range of pottery classes and ceramics workshops for adults and children. The studio is a state-of-the-art, 5000 square-foot former warehouse in Asheville's Historic River Arts District.
We’ve got a fun lineup for our 8 week course Winter Session! And something for everybody - Maybe you'd like to light up the dark winter months? Check out our Handmade Lighting for the Home class with Julie Douglas. Or perhaps you’d like to start your weekend with a bang doing Clay and Karaoke with Tony Prince. Wanting to learn more about handbuilding? Gillian Doty’s class will make you feel Absolutely Slab-ulous! Need someone to occupy the kids? This season we’ve added an 8 week class for kids and teens. We also offer an awesome variety of wheel, hand-building, and sculpture options for adults and a chance to fire in the Salt and Soda Kiln! This session is jam packed and starts January 11th, we recommend signing up early as we expect it to sell out! Check out our website for more info and to register.
