Solo exhibition by Johannah Herr using domestic textiles to interrogate American identity, immigration policy and state violence.
Through hand-tufted rugs, patterned wallpapers, and familiar domestic ornamentation, artist Johannah Herr turns the visual language of comfort into a sharp look at American identity, immigration policy, and state violence in her solo exhibition at Cuchifritos Gallery.
"White Borders" is made possible by the Dual Workspace Residency Program, presented by Artists Alliance Inc. and Dieu Donné.
