Watercolor Landscapes

Take a page from a picture book and paint a watercolor landscape accented with ink.

Join us as we explore and create with watercolors using short segments from the Creativebug craft series Inspired by Picture Books. Learn how to make simple landscape scenes with watercolor and ink on watercolor paper, as well as ways to transform watercolor shapes into objects and animals. Attendees will be able to practice on regular paper before switching to watercolor paper.

In addition to learning about watercolors, this class will also teach attendees about how to use Creativebug, one of the free online resources available with a Sno-Isle library card. Curious users can explore more projects by going to our Online Learning page and create their own account in Creativebug.

This event is designed for teens and adults 13+.

To request a sign language interpreter, complete the online form or contact your local library at least two weeks prior to the library event. Interpreters will be provided based on availability.
