Create Your Own Comic Page!

Have you ever wanted to create your own comic? If the answer is YES, join us and Kelly Froh to create a six- or nine-panel comic page!

No art skills needed. We’ll provide the supplies. If you have a favorite pen or pencil, or keep a sketchbook or journal, bring it with you. Begin thinking about a story you'd like to tell in comics form.

For teens and tweens, 11 to 18. Registration preferred.

Kelly is a comic artist and Executive Director of the Short Run Comix Festival in Seattle. Kelly’s comics are inspired by her own life experiences and have appeared in The Seattle Weekly, The Seattle Review of Books, The Stranger, and The Women’s Review of Books. She has self-published over 60 zines and mini-comics.

The program is part of Sno-Isle Libraries Summer Reading and supported by the Friends of the Marysville Library.

To request a sign language interpreter, complete the online form or contact your local library at least two weeks prior to the library event. Interpreters will be provided based on availability.
