Wasteman

A gripping and gritty drama from first-time director Cal McMau, featuring compelling performances and deserving of its BAFTA nomination in the Outstanding British Debut category.

Prison cook Taylor has kept his head down during 13 years of his sentence. Excited to have made contact with his estranged son Adam outside, he becomes eligible for early release — until his new cellmate Dee arrives. Dee's arrival signals a major upheaval as he attempts to take over the drug deals run by Taylor’s mates, using drone delivery. They do not take this attempted coup lying down.

Will Taylor ever get out?
