A concert in memory of Juraj and Matúš and to mark International Coming Out Day.
Vojtik is a young Slovak singer, songwriter and producer from Detva, who has made a name for himself with his distinctive, personal work and the single Detviansky sen. His music blends pop, art-pop, experimental sounds and elements of folk music, whilst frequently exploring themes of identity, coming of age, otherness and life in Slovakia. His debut album Kvety z Podpoľania won him the Radio_Head Award for Debut of the Year.
The concert will be preceded by a discussion with Radka Trokšiarová and her mother at 6.00 pm.
Four years ago, Juraj Vankulič and Matúš Horváth were murdered outside the Tepláreň in Bratislava. Their murder served as a tragic reminder of the hatred and violence directed at LGBTI+ people in Slovakia and affected not only their loved ones but the entire community.
