UCD IDEATHON
A hands-on ideathon where students team up to tackle a real challenge and build an idea from scratch — no experience needed.
Tackle a real challenge, meet new people and build an idea from scratch. No idea or experience needed – just bring your curiosity!
An Ideathon is a fast-paced, hands-on session where students come together to tackle real problems, generate ideas and see what they can create.
You don't need to arrive with an idea. You don't need a business background. And you definitely don't need to know anything about entrepreneurship.
We'll give you the challenge, the tools and a team to work with. Over the session, you'll explore the problem, come up with possible solutions and turn your best thinking into an idea you can grow.
Come curious. Leave with an idea, new skills, new connections – and maybe the start of something worth building.
