DIFFRACTION COLLECTIVE present a musical and visual journey at the back of the Herbert Hotel, situated in the latest iteration of our spiritual home, Herbert Outdoors! Diffraction Collective is an inclusive arts platform connecting and collaborating with the creative community from North Queensland, Australia, and abroad to deliver an innovative and energetic mix of sound + visual art. Our upcoming event, U&U SHOWCASE, brings together a multi-disciplinary artist collaboration featuring DJ’s, producers, visual art, techno, psychedelic selections and soundscapes.

Australian duo U&U make their Digital Structures debut with Lickin’ That Snake, a rolling slice of tech house infused with unmistakable Australian bush techno energy. Comprised of acclaimed Australian producer Hood Rich, a respected name in the country's tech house scene, alongside his best friend, Barry Steez, U&U deliver a groove driven EP built for open air sound systems and late-night festival moments. Chunky baselines, snappy percussion and bucketloads of attitude to create a vibe that feels equally at home in the club or deep in the bush.
