Thunderdome Throwdown #1

Welcome to the first of Meeples Games RTT event series, the Thunderdome Throw-down! 16 will enter, 1 will emerge as our Thunderdome Champion.

This will be a 3 round, max 16 person event with a focus on building up the West Seattle organized play community. We're aiming for a welcoming and competitive environment so come prepared to play with both good tactics and a positive attitude.

Check in: 9:00am-10:00am

Round 1: 10:00am-1:00pm

Lunch: 1:00pm-2:00pm

Round 2: 2:00pm-5:00pm

Round 3: 5:15pm-8:15pm

For map selection we're going to do a pick/ban system. Dispositions create 3 options, players roll off, winner bans 1 of the 3 choices and the loser chooses between the 2 remaining maps to play.

In addition to bragging rights, we'll have prizing for the top 3 paid out to in store credit dependent on the number of entrants, as well as a prize for best sportsmanship and best painted army.

To receive painting points each round, models must be painted to GW's 'Battle Ready' standard. (3 colors + based)

Rules update cutoff 1 week before tournament start. (unless something wild and unexpected happens. I reserve the right to change my mind on this one.)

$25 entry fee due prior to registration. List Submission cutoff is 10:00pm Friday Nov 20th.
