This City
Two performers bring to life locals living in Edinburgh's forgotten corners, a play by Dylan Mooney about communities surviving underdevelopment.
Away from the castle and crowds of tourists, life in the city continues. In the parts ventured only by locals, the real Edinburgh lives and breathes. This City sees two performers bring to life a multitude of characters living outside of the city centre, exploring what it's like to be forgotten by the city they call home. For them, not matter what, life keeps going.
Written by Dylan Mooney and directed by Gwen M. Dolan, This City asks how communities can survive during times of underdevelopment and which lives are viewed as important in a city ecosystem.
