A Death Cafe conversation on grief and loss with doula Shaena Whitney, plus a personalized altar-making workshop over tea and cake.
Shaena Whitney, Death Doula, will guide us through a Death Cafe. Death Cafe is an informal, safe gathering centered around conversations on grief, loss, and death. These gatherings allow us to share conversation openly and intimately, over tea, cake, and snacks.
Sara Heit of Panther City Artists will lead us in creating personalized altars to honor lost loved ones. Supplies will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring special items they would like to include.
The Mothership hosts events on a contribute-what-you-can basis. No one is turned away for lack of funds, but RSVPs are required. Donations are welcome through our KoFi, or at the event.
