The Feedback Loop

Gathering Ottawa's builders, designers, creators, and innovators for an evening of product critique to help each other build better things.

The Feedback Loop is hosting a forum for product builders, designers, engineers and anybody working on projects worth talking about. Meet with other builders, share what you're working on and help grow a community of innovators in Ottawa.

Whether you're working on the next killer app, creating a design studio from scratch, or building a robot in your garage - we want to hear from you!

J oin us on November 11th for a night of snacks, drinks, great conversation and of course great feedback.

How the night actually works:

Five local makers will throw their live projects (whether it's a messy V1, a half-baked Figma file, or a live launched app) up on the big screen.

For 12 minutes, the room works together to find where users get stuck, spot the roadblocks, and figure out how to make the product better.

Why you need to be here If you’re presenting: This is your chance to show off what you’re making to a room of people who actually get it. Bring your messy drafts and your challenges and let a room full of fresh eyes save you weeks of overthinking and help you figure out the next step. If you’re in the crowd: We need your perspective. Whether you’ve been doing this for ten years or ten days, a good observation stands on its own. Come share your experience, help a fellow maker level up, and connect with Ottawa's creative builder community. The Rules of the Room We want this to be a space that is productive and helps makers move forward. Bring the "Why": Any feedback must be backed up with actual evidence or supported by a clear why . Protect the Wins: We strongly believe that you should protect the things in your tool or product that are going well. If it works, call it out. Going Unplugged: We keep laptops closed and phones away. Bring a physical notebook to jot down your thoughts so we can stay fully present in the moment while the makers present. The Schedule 6:30 PM – Doors Open (Snacks & drinks provided!) 6:50 PM – Welcome 7:00 PM – Warm-up 7:15 PM – Block A (Projects 1–3) 7:48 PM – Break 7:58 PM – Block B (Projects 4–5) 8:20 PM – Closeout 8:25–9:00 PM – Networking For $15, you get an evening of high-level problem solving, real connections, and the momentum to finally ship your project.

Let’s build something great.
