Te Angladd b y Gruffudd Owen
You know you're getting old when you get invited to fewer and fewer weddings and the funerals start to creep in…
After a year of missed opportunities and drunken midnight texts, Lowri and Idris cross paths again... at a funeral. With Lowri stuck in a rut on the family farm in Pen Llŷn, Idris sinks into solitude in his damp terraced house in Cardiff. But after an unexpected death, both must face some hard truths and ask the difficult question, "what do I actually want from life?"
Hymns, tributes and the laying‑to‑rest of the buffet, Gruffudd Owen's Te Angladd is a hilarious new play about love, grief and unspoken truths. Following the smash-hit success of Parti Priodas , Mared Llywelyn and Mark Henry-Davies return as Lowri, Idris and all the other characters, directed by Rhian Blythe.
This is one farewell you won't forget!
