Sunset Shakeout

Sunset Shakeout with Team USA Olympians Commons Clinic is hosting a free community shakeout run through the heart of Santa Monica on Friday, July 31, timed to finish right as the sun drops over the Pacific. Check-in starts at 6:00 PM at Commons Clinic, with a dynamic warm-up before the group heads out at 6:30 for a relaxed, conversational-pace run to Palisades Park and back — 3 to 6 miles, all paces welcome. We'll close the evening with a hands-on mobility and recovery station, a live Q&A on race prep and injury prevention, and snacks and photos as the sky turns gold. Spots are limited, so RSVP is required. Joining the run are two Team USA Olympians: Clayton Young, who represented the U.S. in the marathon at the 2024 Paris Olympics and owns a personal best of 2:05:41, and Ben Kanute, a 2016 Rio Olympic triathlete and two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship runner-up.
