About Bill Mearse Bill Mearse is a seasoned business executive, investor, board member, and mentor with more than 33 years of experience at Accenture.
Before retiring, Bill served as Global Chief Operating Officer for Accenture's Resources division, encompassing energy, chemicals, utilities, metals, mining, and paper industries, where he oversaw more than $5 billion in revenue. He also served as Senior Managing Director of Accenture's Houston office, leading local market development, community engagement, and initiatives supporting more than 1,200 employees.
Today, Bill serves in leadership roles on the boards of Baylor College of Medicine, Baylor University, and Banda Health. He previously served on the board of Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM).
He is also an active investor in the Baylor Angel Network and a dedicated mentor to emerging business professionals, continuing to invest his experience and influence in the next generation of leaders.
