Stitch

Samhain night where spirits roam,

Something crawls into my bones…

Alice, in the basement for seven months...

Forgotten girl with her face all torn,

A shadow of shame and scorn.

On Samhain night, she is reborn.

Sinister, unsettling and unrelentingly atmospheric, this play is not for the faint-hearted.

For those who dare, Stitch promises an unforgettable theatrical experience.

A homage to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein , Stitch explores our capacity to be both monster and maker and what happens when the lines between them blur.

The critically-acclaimed hit at Cork Midsummer Festival in 2025, it won Best Site Specific Experience, Best Company and Best Tech Team in The Arts Review's 2025 awards. Irene Kelleher's performance was hailed as " a tour de force ". Praised by the Irish Examiner as " remarkable " and "truly heartrending."

Now, this celebrated production comes to Dublin for the first time.

From the team behind Gone Full Havisham (Irene Kelleher, Regina Crowley and Cormac O'Connor) and presented by Mighty Oak Productions, Stitch reveals the monster and maker in us all. Sharp, slick, utterly unmissable. A fever dream you won't want to wake up from.

Stitch premiered at Cork Midsummer Festival in 2025 and was co-funded by Cork Midsummer Festival, Cork City Council, and Mighty Oak Productions.
