Growing up in Dublin, Smo was immersed in a rich musical culture from an early age. Digging through his parents’ record collection and watching his dad’s covers band, he developed a deep love for great songwriters and, even more so, unforgettable lyricists. Drawing inspiration from The Beatles, Elbow and The War on Drugs, Smo blends vivid storytelling with a dash of humour and memorable melodies to create something truly special. Everything around him feeds into the stories he tells—from the Adriatic coast to lazy afternoons in the sun, Smo has a knack for putting you right at the heart of the song.
