Smart Bookkeeping Workshop

GSV partnered with FNB to host a practical workshop on bookkeeping and business formalization for local traders.

Informal and small-scale trading is a major source of income and employment in the Sol Plaatje Municipality, yet many traders operate without business records, a registered business, or a bank account. This limits their access to funding, supply contracts, and formal markets, and leaves them vulnerable to theft, cash-flow problems, and compliance risks.

To address this, the Galeshewe SMME Village partnered with First National Bank (FNB) to host a practical workshop on bookkeeping and business formalization for small traders.
