Showdown #114
Fighting game tournament night featuring Street Fighter 6, Avatar Legends and Guilty Gear Strive.
Code of Conduct No Bigotry. Treat everyone with respect. Absolutely no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, violence, threats of violence, inappropriate contact, hate speech, or other forms of personal misconduct will be tolerated at our events.
No Bullying or Harassment of other members. Anything above "FGC Trash Talk" will be dealt with accordingly.
No Damaging of or stealing of property. If you are found to have committed such a crime, your behavior will be reported to local law enforcement and you will receive a lifetime ban.
No bad odors or smell. Wash your ass and put on some deodorant before you attend. If we smell any foul odors coming from you, we will ask you to please go home and clean up yourself if you still wish to be apart of the tournament. After 3 warnings you will receive a 1 month ban and will be alerted to local TOs in the area.
Alert your TOs of any issues. If you see something against our rules or something that makes your feel unsafe, we urge you to please contact the TOs present at this tournament. The current TOs for this tournament are listed in the start.gg at the very bottom. If your issue rises above our rules and involve serious crimes, please contact local law enforcement first before contacting TOs as your safety matters.
Controllers Controllers must be plugged in, regardless if they offer wireless or not. In the event your playing on a console instead of a PC, you MUST desync your controller. Failure to do so might result in a round loss or DQ.
Turbo and program (macro) functions in all controllers are banned. In-game macros are allowed (Dash button in Guilty Gear: Strive is acceptable, a macro doing two forward inputs is not). If you are caught using them you will be disqualified for cheating. Only allowed to have one button per input. You cannot have two L1 buttons for example. If your found to have it, your controller will be DQ'ed and you must play with another controller.
Bugs and Glitches Intentionally triggering a bug or glitch that stops the game from being played counts as a loss for the triggering player. Discovering a bug or glitch in tournament does not count as a loss. Attempting to repeat it in same said match will count as a loss UNLESS it doesn't crash or break the "rules" of the game being played. (Ruby Heart Freeze Glitch in MVC2 is a loss, Infinites are a tactic, learn the Iron Man MVC2 combo)
