Learn seed-saving basics for a climate-resilient garden and take home landrace seeds from Michaela's garden.
Seed-saving planning and techniques for a climate-resistant Vegetable Garden.
This workshop covers the basics of seed saving, including helping you understand the difference between open-pollinated, heirloom and hybrid seeds, as well as the basics of landrace/genetically diverse seed production for climate resilience. Additionally, we will cover the process for saving seeds from common garden vegetables.
You will have an opportunity to go home with a selection of genetically diverse, landrace seeds from Michaela's garden so you can continue to support the development of regionally adapted, climate resilient seeds within your own garden!
